The MSF20 series is first in a new line of press ready sheet fed metallic inks. Careful control of raw materials in developing the carrying media for the gold bronze powders and aluminum flakes has yielded the highest gloss inks available from the multitude of products available in the market. The inks are built around a high viscosity per unit of tack. The physics of the technology lends itself to sharp printing, outstanding trapping, a very wide water window and a very "easy to run" metallic ink. The inks also are non-skinning with excellent tack stability.
The choice of metallic flake used in formulating the inks was critical. By combining extremely fine particles with more typically sized pigments for offset printing produces the optimum brillance, cleanliness and density when carried through the printing process and bound to the sheet. The MSF20 series runs well on a wide range of substrates allowing the designer and printer to create and deliver the desired effect yielding eye-catching graphics.
